I originally belong to a place called Salon, in the district of Raibareilly in the north Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. I am currently based in Noida.

My early years were spent in the the beautiful city of Dehradun, also known as the Doon valley. I had my schooling in Dehradun from the Cambrian Hall School. After that I left for Aligarh and completed my Senior Secondary from there. I did my Engineering in Computers from ZHCOET, one of the many colleges coming under the Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, passing out in the year 1996.

At present, I am working with Cadence Design Systems, a company developing software tools for electronic designing, as a Member of Technical Staff, and I am based in Noida, India. My present work involves working on a Simulator for VHDL, a hardware description language.

Watching F1 racing, movies, numismatics (coin collection) and philately (stamps collection).
